Come and join us in learning how to say no tuesday, February 12th from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm at the Châteauguay Municipal Library, Salle polyvalente, 25 maple boulevard.
When we care about others, it can become difficult to say "no" when they need something or are asking us for our help. For some people, they even feel like if they were to say "no", it would mean that they are rejecting the person in front of them, giving them the message that they don't care. In fact, saying "no" does not equate "not caring about the person", it might simply mean that we need some time for ourselves. Being a caregiver comes with a lot of responsibilities and so it becomes imperative that you learn how and when to say "no" when you need it in order to be able to keep being a caregiver, and still have a quality of life.
